Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly hit over the head with a glass bottle near a McDonald’s restaurant in the city. Officers were called to The Carlton Centre in Lincoln at 4.46pm on Sunday, July 7, after the alleged assault.
A 34-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and later bailed while investigations continue. Police are now asking the public to come forward and help with the investigation.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “CCTV does not cover the area where the incident took place, so we are appealing for eyewitnesses and information. The woman allegedly involved in this incident is described as being 5ft6ins, white and with red hair.

“She is said to have been wearing a black T-shirt with a white bird print on it, dark leggings, and black ballet flat shoes. If you have information which you think will help, email john.miller2@lincs.police.uk quoting the incident number 315 of 7 July.”
