Two arrested for conspiring to steal motor vehicles in Lincolnshire

Two people have been arrested after officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle. Lincolnshire Police became aware of a stolen vehicle being driven on Wednesday, July 3, across Cross Keys Bridge at Sutton Bridge.

This occurred around 12:04pm and the vehicle was later located on an industrial estate in Boston. In addition to this, a number of vehicles and vehicle parts were found.

A 42-year-old and a 29-year-old were later arrested in Peterborough and North Hants. It was reported by Lincolnshire Police that they were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to steal motor vehicles.

The force is now urging members of the public to report any suspicious activity relating to vehicles by calling 101. Alternatively, the charity Crimestoppers can be called on 0800 555 111.
