Grantham A52 crash: Three seriously injured after road closed for several hours

Three people were left seriously injured after a crash on a major Lincolnshire road which left a vehicle overturned. Officers were called to the two-vehicle crash on the A52 Somerby Hill, Grantham, at 12.45pm on Sunday, July 14.

The vehicles involved in the incident were a blue Vauxhall Antara and a blue Toyota Aygo. Police closed the road at the time and reopened it several hours later, just after 6.30pm.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed that three people were seriously injured in the crash and one received minor injuries. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue also attended the incident, using hydraulic cutting equipment to rescue one casualty from an overturned vehicle.
