Five teenagers have been arrested after reports of an assault and a group of people seen armed with weapons. Police were called to Lake View Road in the Moorland area of Lincoln on Saturday, May 11.
It was reported that at around 11.30pm, a group of people armed with bats and other weapons were causing damage to a property in the street. It was also believed that someone had been assaulted.
Officers found a man in his 20s at the scene with several wounds and he was taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of class B drugs. A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, and two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of class B drugs.

All five of the teenagers have been released on police bail while investigations continue. Police believe that all involved in the incident were known to each other.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We know that there will be lots of speculation about this incident locally, including talking about the people involved. We would remind people that it is an offence to identify anyone under the age of 18 involved in criminal proceedings.
“Our officers will now investigate the circumstances of this case, which will include further conversations with local residents and other enquiries in the neighbourhood.
